SERVICES TO MEET TRANSIT OPERATOR NEEDS

  • Field Service and Maintenance Management includes the provision of technical support of AFC Devices including first-line, second-line and third-line preventative and remedial maintenance, both on-site and through dedicated repair centres. Logistics and asset management services comprise spare parts, consumables, and warehousing management, while technical support services encompass operator merchant support.
  • Financial Management & Transaction Processing Management is the provision of services to manage the day-to-day operations of the clearing and settlement functions for the apportionment of funds to single or multiple transit participants. This function also includes the reconciliation of daily transfers between financial institutions, participating operators and other vendors.
  • Transit Fare Media Management operates as the central management for procurement, inventory management, configuration, support and validation of all magnetic and smart card media within the system. Card Handling Services, including the fulfillment, initialisation and distribution of bulk and individual cards, is also managed here.
  • Systems Operation Management is the regulation of services to maintain and support all systems, applications and networking infrastructure for the AFC system. This ensures operating service levels, security and the confi dentiality of data within the IT infrastructure are maintained, along with a unique disaster recovery management tool.
  • Customer Service Management provides a contact centre facility for all system users, passengers, transit operators and third-party support services from Cardholders through to transit operators and third-party merchants.
    Reload Network Management oversees the management of all retail sales outlets used to load value to cards and/or sell fare media. This network includes planning, recruitment, equipment supply, and retailer training.
  • Scheme Management encompasses the management of the system programs, rules, applications, fares, products, routes, services and dependencies. It provides useful results of the AFC services for transportation operators and for other targeted applications including management reporting and marketing management.
  • Software Support and Maintenance is the provision of service for the support and maintenance of ERG AFC system software and associated licensed software as well as the management of technology upgrades, knowledge management and future development.

SERVICE SOLUTIONS - SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS

ERG’s OpCo offers a range of Service and Maintenance solution options to support all fi eld based AFC equipment and devices, as well as all centrally located and operator specifi c AFC systems. In addition, ERG’s Service and Maintenance solutions are fully scaleable to meet individual operator needs.

These solutions encompass the provision of specialist facilities and resources to provide fi rst, second and third line preventative and remedial maintenance, spare parts and inventory management and logistics services.

ERG OpCo Service and Maintenance solutions also support operator requirements for technical software support, management of fare media stock, workshop facilities, revenue servicing, field device and equipment monitoring, and installation and deployment management services for new equipment deployments. Increased service flexibility can be assured by operating both local and centrally located regional facilities to meet the individual needs of the transit operators.
